Who is not familiar with the problem of cost control on teleworkstations? All too often, excessively long connections are maintained in the corporate headquarters and/or the Internet. This drives up communication costs. NCP Charge Manager offers control and transparency at the same time. The system administrator sets certain limits that are monitored on-the-fly by the Connection Management. The following limits can be set: max. connect time (in days/hours/min), max. number of connections, and maximum number of charge units. Likewise the monitoring period can be set.
In addition, you can configure the actions that will be triggered when a limit is reached or exceeded, such as notification that the limit is exceeded, warning at 90% of the maximum value, or automatic connection disconnect. The limits can only be removed by the administrator.
