The possibility of malfunctions or bottlenecks in the Internet can never be excluded. Connection disconnects often result in lost data and extend wait times until the error is resolved. Both situations are unpleasant for the VPN operator and can be associated with unexpectedly high costs (for example important data are not available when needed). With the Line Backup feature, when there is a disturbance the system automatically switches from a DSL, or ISDN, connection to an ISDN backup line (naturally with an alert to the administration). The data connection remains intact, this means you can work without logging in again. When DSL functionality is restored, then the system switches back to the less-expensive connection.
