This feature makes it possible to manage the VPNs of several companies with one Secure Gateway. An enclosed VPN is set-up for each company; and only certain users (customers) have access to it. Gateway Sharing means that you do not have to purchase multiple single systems.
Multi-Company Support is also attractive for Application Service Providers (ASPs) and Managed Security Providers (MSSPs). This means that you can offer your clientele a reliable and economic VPN solution. Individual customer blocks can be set-up for each customer on one VPN gateway, for example
- DNS server/ WINS server, or Update Server
- Radius servers or LDAP servers
- IP pool and
- Individual certificate verification.
Configuration of the respective user group, or group allocation of individual users is handled via a suffix (such as xy@company) that is placed in front of the user ID (like the E-mail address).
