Secure Remote Control - Data transfer without risk

The communications requirement:

Secure Remote Access to remote systems for calling up operating data or controlling such data, e.g. monitoring ticket dispensing machines, manufacturing machines, or industrial robots.

Central or de-centralized connection control (dial-in / dial-out). Available transmission media: DSL, ISDN, and the Internet.

NCP Secure Communications for Remote Control offers the following range of services:

• End-to-end security between the remote system and central gateway, or the control PC.
• Strong authentication via electronic certificates (soft certificates, smart cards or USB tokens) in a PKI.
• Optional integration in a WLAN infrastructure (see Secure WLAN)
